Empowering communities through purposeful digital transformation

Over the years, I’ve led national-scale digital transformation projects that have impacted millions of lives. Partnering with governments and international agencies, I’ve guided teams to design and deliver technology-driven solutions that empower citizens, strengthen institutions, and build a more connected future.

Historic moment: Bangladesh 999 research and call center team when civilian responders first connected citizens with police, fire, and ambulance services.

Public Safety

When citizens feared calling for help, I wanted to change that. My company, Infratech Consultants Ltd (ICL), was selected by the Government of Bangladesh to lead the development of the National Emergency Service 999 — the country’s largest public safety initiative. From research to deployment, I guided my team through service design, technology integration, and law enforcement training. Today, millions of lives are saved every year through this trusted platform — a model that can inspire all developing nations to modernize their emergency response systems.

Digital Literacy

I have always believed that technology is only powerful when people understand how to use it safely. My work in digital literacy focuses on creating a safer internet for children, women, teachers, and professionals. Partnering with the Government of Bangladesh and UN agencies, I contributed to digital curriculum design, awareness campaigns, and policy dialogue. Over one million citizens have been trained and certified — gaining confidence to navigate the digital world responsibly and productively.

Startup Acceleration

For over 15 years, I have dedicated my leadership to empowering young innovators and micro-entrepreneurs across Bangladesh. Leading from the private sector through my organization, I guided my team in designing and implementing the country’s largest government-led startup and university accelerator programs. I built bridges between grassroots founders and global platforms, bringing international partners, mentors, and investors to support their growth. I initiated idea competitions, hackathons, and national innovation awards that gave young creators a stage to showcase their talent. Through these efforts, I have helped transform thousands of local ideas into impactful, sustainable global ventures.

Content for Education

Education needs imagination. I envisioned a future where children learn through interactive, gamified, and digital content — not just textbooks. Under my leadership, teams developed multimedia lessons, apps, and e-learning platforms on diverse subjects from math to health. These tools reached millions of learners, especially in rural schools where teachers were scarce. I see a future where AR, VR, and interactive content redefine how developing nations learn — making education more inclusive, engaging, and sustainable.

E-Government & Mobile Innovation

When people still used basic feature phones, I imagined a day when a phone would become every citizen’s window to government. I led pioneering projects that transformed traditional offices into paperless, mobile-first institutions, developing Bangladesh’s first mobile applications for both public and private sectors. From m-Gov platforms to citizen services, my leadership helped ministries embrace digital tools that made governance faster, transparent, and more connected — long before “digital transformation” became a global buzzword.

Skills Development

Empowering youth through digital skills has been one of my lifelong missions. I led nationwide training programs — funded by government, private, and donor agencies — to equip young men and women with skills for the global digital economy. Many have since become entrepreneurs, freelancers, and changemakers in their communities. This model of internet-based employment and capacity building can help other developing nations tackle unemployment and build inclusive digital workforces.
