Recognized by the United Nations–affiliated World Summit Awards for Write3, a mobile citizen-journalism platform empowering youth to use digital media for social change in line with the UN Millennium Development Goals. Selected from over 700 global entries across 99 countries.

Manthan Award South Asia, New Delhi, India — Winner 2009

Honored for NetBetar, an innovative digital media platform connecting non-resident Bangladeshis and promoting local talent through online broadcasting. Celebrated for creative application of ICT for Development (ICT4D).

Nokia “Create for Millions” Global Developer Contest – Winner (2012)

Two of my mobile applications — Write3 and Lemon24 — were selected among the top 10 worldwide in Nokia’s Create for Millions global developer contest, under the “In the Know” category. Competing against over 1,300 submissions from international developers, both apps were recognized for creative innovation in emerging markets. The recognition included a €2,000 award from Nokia, celebrating excellence in mobile innovation and user-centric design.
